This workshop will provide insights into the challenges of processing natural language, representation of words as vectors, and the significance of probabilistic and neural language models in generative AI.

Participants will have the opportunity to gain experience with both probabilistic and neural language models. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, attendees will explore the inner workings of these models and understand how they can be applied to various NLP tasks. Profile of the Instructor

 

 

Prof. Ramaseshan Ramachandran is a visiting professor at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), specialising in the field of natural language processing (NLP). He served as a venture leader at Cognizant Technologies, where he played a crucial role in leading and overseeing innovative projects related to NLP and artificial intelligence. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM).
