Description of the Workshop

For India to become a leading innovative nation, we need a large number of young innovators. Organizations are seeking young talents with strong innovation skills to tackle the challenges of today’s BANI (brittle, anxious, non-linear, and incomprehensible) world. There are many innovative techniques and models available to use. However, many innovators find it challenging to apply these techniques and models effectively, which is why most innovation efforts fail. Without the right mindset, it is hard for innovators to use these tools properly. Students must start developing the right innovation mindset now, which will not only help them work on innovation projects more easily but also make them more attractive to employers. This workshop stands out from other innovation workshops – here one gets to develop the right innovation mindset. Participants will learn practical tips and tricks to strengthen their innovation skills and become genuinely innovative. This will help them apply any innovation models and techniques successfully.

Feedbacks from the previous participants

I attended a three-day session on “Building an Innovation Mindset” led by Bala Ramadurai Sir and Sayantan Mukherjee Sir, and it was an extremely insightful and transformative experience. The session covered a variety of frameworks and practical strategies for tackling complex challenges, with a key takeaway being the concept of starting with “perfect” — not perfection in the traditional sense, but a well-rounded approach involving perceiving, enquiring, relating, engaging, and communicating with tenacity. Staying committed and persistent, even in the face of obstacles, is critical to success. The interactive nature of the session, combined with hands-on activities, enabled me to immediately apply these concepts. The concept of breaking and forming habits through Motivation, Capability, and Prompt was especially effective, providing a clear path for behavior change. What stood out the most was the emphasis on navigating uncertainty with a structured mindset, which is especially important in today’s fast-paced world. Overall, the session was highly practical, and thought-provoking, and transformed my approach to problem-solving and innovation.
