Description of the workshop
''AI-Assisted Entrepreneurship'' is a live, online 3-Module program for NPTEL learners and aspiring Entrepreneurs who want to utilise proprietary RAG-based AI Tutors to accelerate real-world Startups. The Modules cover three key Entrepreneurial domains:
- Module A: Micro-Entrepreneurship,
- Module B: Social- Entrepreneurship, and
- Module C: Techno-Entrepreneurship.
For each Module, Learners can:
- Join a live session to understand the basics of Entrepreneurship
- Watch live demos of proprietary AI-Tools
- Get free access to the AI-Toolkit so they can explore and develop their personal startup business plan.
The instructor, Prof. Devdip Purkayastha, Professor of Practice at IIT Bombay, is a successful veteran with 40 years of diverse experience across Industry, not-for-profit, and Academia. He is a Leader with ‘A Head for Business, Heart for the World’.
A Certificate of Participation will be provided to registered participants in accordance with program norms. The course supports our mission for Atmanirbharta and responsible AI-Access for all
Module C: AI-Assisted Techno-Entrepreneurship
This Module will help participants to learn about and explore various hardware, software, and platform technology domains. With the help of the customised AI Tool, they can explore Startup Opportunities and develop their own technology products, services and business plans which can be validated through real-world in-field work
Profile of the Instructor

Prof. Devdip Purkayastha
IIT Bombay
Devdip Purkayastha is a full-time Professor of Practice at IIT Bombay, Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship. He combines 30 years of senior management experience in leading global companies, plus 10 years of teaching & mentoring Entrepreneurship students at IIT Bombay. During his corporate career, he worked successfully in various senior-level roles across India & Asia at reputed MNCs like P&G & DHL. He has been recognised in various industry forums, including as "CEO of the Year".
For the past decade, he has been closely involved with the start-up ecosystem in the technology and social sectors. He teaches technology entrepreneurship courses, mentors start-up teams, and advises investors. He has served in the past as President of Enactus India. Enactus is a non-profit organization that supports student social entrepreneurs across ~35 countries. He studied at IIT Kharagpur & IIM Calcutta and later participated in executive programs at Wharton & INSEAD.

Registered participants will be given free access to the AI-Toolkit till 30th April to help learners refine/redefine their startup plans based on real-world user and market feedback
Registered participants who submit the required assignment will be provided with the Certificate of Participation
Certification Criteria
Registration, Attendance in the live session and Assignment submission are mandatory for the Certificate of Participation
