Antique Tin Victory Canary Songster made by the Risdon Mfg. Co. of Naugatuck, Conn. It is a whistle used by photographers early in the 20th to attract the attention of young children during photo sessions (watch the little birdie). If you blow on rubber tube connecting to the stem after filling water, it will sing like a canary with moving beaks and tail.
In pre-owned condition. No box. Have wear and tear due to use and age. Size: 4” tall. Signed: Yes. Condition: not test (Missing a rubber tube that attaches to the inlet found on the stem between bowl and bird). Rare. HTF. Sold as is. No refund.
