Ruthie Smithens is Kit Kittredge's best friend. She was released in 2008 and retired in 2014. Ruthie is a preloved doll, so she was sent to the American Girl Doll Hospital for a new head.
As you can see from the pictures, she is free of marks and can stand on her own. She will come in her box from the Doll Hospital and wearing the beautiful dress from her Holiday Outfit. (The white tights she is wearing and black patent, buckle Mary Janes are similar to those from her outfit, but are not AG brand.)
