Topics Covered
Module 1: Developing Insights & Framing the problem
After data collection, the first challenge is to know how to use correctly the data. Based on a case study, participants will learn how to visualize and organize data. The goal of this session is to categorize and analyse the data collected to develop key insights and conclusions. With these insights, participants will compose their problem statement. This problem statement will frame their design journey.
Module 2: Reframing the problem & Mapping the context
To understand the context your user is experimenting with, participants will use different design thinking tools. They will identify the stakeholders impacted by your problem statements. They will then describe and define the system that is regulating their daily life and experiences. Based on these maps, the participants will learn how to reframe their problem statements. With this session, participants will discover how to visualize and define the context of their users’ experiences. In learning how to reframe their problem statements, they will be able to get out of potential dead-ends and unlock creativity.
