Description of the Course
The Course has been structured in a three-fold manner wherein, the participant is kept informed with the various legal, IP and regulatory requirements be complied with by Start-Up business entity, to survive in the competitive world; meanwhile, providing for insight into the various modes of funding available along with the level of preparation and timelines that will be required to have an upper hand on the bargaining power of the Founders. Furthermore, IP filing, Stat-Up Labour law compliance and Contractual due diligence will also be covered.

Dr. Sairam Bhat, NLSIU
Dr. Sairam Bhat is a Professor of Law at NLSIU and provides training and advisory to various Government and Non-Governmental entities engaged in Start-Up Incubation, Funding and Compliance. Prof. Bhat is a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship in 2010 at the University of Georgetown, Washington, the Linnaeus-Palme Academic Exchange Fellow at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm in 2013, and received the Young India Environmental Law Fellowship&; in 2003and served as Adjunct Faculty at Golden Gate University, San Francisco during Fall- 2003. His publications include, Law Relating to Business Contracts [Sage 2009], Natural Resources Conservation Law [Sage 2010]; Right to Information, [EBH 2012].

CS J. Sundharesan is the visionary founder of J Sundharesan & Associates, is a distinguished fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with a remarkable journey spanning over three decades in the realm of corporate law matters. He holds the distinguished designation of CCEP-I, a testament to his international compliance proficiency.
Aditya Kamath
Aditya Kamath is a partner with the BCP Associates and heads the Labour and Employment Law Audit and Legal Advisory. At the firm, Aditya specialises in Labour and Employment laws, Contracts and Compliance. Aditya is also the chief consultant with The Legal Dog, LLC, an American LPO and a guest faculty at National Law School of India University.
Rohith Kamath
Rohith Kamath is a Partner, Rex Law Chambers at Bengaluru and is a Consultant with CEERA, NLSIU. With about 8 years of Experience as an Advocate and Associate Company Secretary. In 2018, received the Scholarship for the 3rd China Law Society Training Base held at Kunming, China. His publications include the Book ‘Health Care in India’, [Bloomsbury 2016].

Ms Gayathri K K is currently engaged as a Research Associate at the Centre for Environmental Law, Education, Research and Advocacy [CEERA], National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She has an LL.M. with a specialization in Criminal Law from the Indian Law Institute, Delhi [2021-22] and has completed BA LL.B. Hons.) from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi [2016-2021].

Ms Gayathri Gireesh is currently working with CEERA NLSIU as a consultant Advocate. She has practised in City Civil Court , Bangalore and Karnataka High Court and specialised in the field of Real Estate Law, Banky, Insurance, Corporate Law. She has also worked as a consultant in various NGOs in the field of WTO, International Trade ,Bio Diversity, Agriculture, Food and Trade policy
