Workshop - 4 : Reimagining Engineering - From Equations to Experience and Beyond

Description of the workshop

Can you call yourself an engineer if you’ve never 'wetted your hands'? Today’s education system produces graduates who either go through rote learning or, at best, understand some bookish analysis and design, but struggle with the reality of identifying a neutral pin or building even a small brick wall. In this episode, we explore why engineering education has lost its "touch" and how we can reclaim the experimental, experiential and sensory-led curiosity of our childhood. Join us as we discuss how to break free from the current system to develop engineers who are not just technicians, but empathetic, first-principles thinkers ready to wet their hands tackle the world's most pressing problems.
