About the workshop :
The understanding of ‘Mind’ has occupied the thinkers and scientists alike from ages. While the ancient Philosophies understood the Mind and explained the processes to understand life. Modern Neuroscience has progressed significantly in explaining Brain and its processes. Still the enigma called “MIND’ and its deeper questions remain. Does Neuroscience map with the older models? Is there a continuity in the knowledge about Mind, Brain and behaviour, from past to future? This brief course attempts to reveal the link, interface and questions between the rich Indian knowledge systems that addressed ‘Mind’ and the state of the art -Neuroscience.
