About NPTEL+

NPTEL+ is a component of the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), an initiative aimed at expanding the scope of learning which includes short-term training programs, self-paced courses, joint certification courses etc. 

It also involve collaborations with industry experts and organizations to create courses and training programs that align with practical needs and current industry trends

About NCIIPC

National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC), a unit of the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO), is a government organization designated as the national nodal agency for the protection of Critical Information Infrastructure (CII).

NCIIPC safeguards national databases, financial systems, the efforts of which are crucial in protecting India’s digital economy, ensuring the security and reliability of essential services

It is also involved in undertaking research and development and allied activities, providing funding (including grants-in-aid) for creating, collaborating and development of innovative future technology for developing and enabling the growth of skills, working closely with wider public sector industries, academia and with international partners for protection of Critical Information Infrastructure.

Initiatives of NCIIPC

Critical Information Infrastructure Security Exercise (CII SECEX) – A national Level Exercise conducted in two stages – the first stage is Training cum Operational Exercise and second stage is Strategic Exercise attracting officials from various Critical sectors.

NCIIPC-AICTE Pentathon – To create a talented pool of ethical hackers amongst young budding students for finding vulnerabilities in the systems of critical information infrastructure 

Internship Programs – Paid internship opportunities to young, talented, well qualified students in disciplines such as Computer Science and Application, Information Technology, Data Science & AI/ML, Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics, Law Policy and Security Studies, Management with duration ranging from 10-26 weeks

NCIIPC Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure Program – An opportunity for researchers to disclose vulnerability observed in Nation’s Critical Information Infrastructure. There were 1389 vulnerabilities reported during the first quarter of 2025 with – Information Disclosure, Security Misconfiguration, Sensitive Data Exposure, Weak Encryption being some of the prominent ones.
