In today’s interconnected and complex software ecosystem, ensuring the security of the software supply chain has become a critical challenge. This talk, “Chain of Command: Mastering Security in Software Supply Chains,” focuses on understanding and mitigating the risks associated with the entire software lifecycle—from development and integration to deployment and distribution. We will explore the various components of the software supply chain, identify potential vulnerabilities, and discuss best practices for safeguarding against threats.

Mr Bhavik is a QA Lead with over 10 years of experience in ensuring the quality and security of software products. His role involves leading teams to implement best practices in testing, quality assurance, and securing the software supply chain. Outside of work, I am passionate about photography and sketching, and I enjoy trekking and exploring new places. My diverse interests help me bring a creative and detail-oriented approach to both my professional and personal life.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to understand the structure and components of a Software Supply Chain, Identify common security threats and vulnerabilities within the supply chain, Implement best practices for enhancing supply chain security, including Secure Coding, Dependency Management, etc.
