Profile of the Instructor

Mr. Prakash Soni has over 20 years of experience in building enterprise-class applications, product development and delivery across a range of IT Products on Desktop, Web and Mobile platforms. He has approximately 2+ years of experience in managing Data Engineering, Data Mining, Data Analytics and Data Science projects in the Retail Industry (i.e. Retail Price Intelligence Platform for E-Commerce domain).

Prakash’s deep expertise includes Enterprise Program and Product management, from ideation through the full software development lifecycle to customer onboarding. He has been instrumental in driving a number of strategic initiatives and partnerships across business units, clients and geographies. He is passionate about managing large engagements and has led cross functional, distributed teams spanning the USA, Middle East, Far East and India as both Program Manager and DC head to deliver solutions in projects for millions of users across Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Auto Lease & Loans and Travel & Hospitality industry in the area of Digital Transformation, Systems Modernization, Product Development, IoT, AI/ML, and Data Science, among others.

In role at Encora, Prakash manages globally-distributed engineering teams to develop NextGen products across the Lease & Loan industry. He has a passion for problem solving and relationship development, enabling him to manoeuvre across the organization in a smooth manner while driving results. He closely follows the emerging technology trends in cloud & edge computing, data platforms and effective enterprise adoption of AI & ML.

Prakash holds a Bachelor Degree of Computer Science and a Post Graduate Degree of MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur. He is also passionate about travelling, music & photography.
