Profile of the Instructor

Lovleen Chadha is Founder & CTO of qapp.ai, a  generative AI startup. Global business and technology leader with three decades of experience in AI, Data Science and Digital technology. Program Management, Product Development, Global Procurement, Supplier Quality, Souring Engineering are key areas of expertise. His research interests focus on locally running LLMs(Large Language Models) and benchmarking of LLMs for execution of business tasks. Intuitive problem solver who invented the concept of wake-up words for voice activated devices; 20 patent filings with 400+ citations; 70 innovation workshops.

Active promoter of design thinking. His last SCAMPER workshop facilitated discovery of 170+ ideas worth 3 M Euro in 1 hour. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Certified PMP since 2008. He is a passionate advocate of reskilling in AI & Data technologies; He has conducted AI/ML bootcamps in India, China, Finland, Germany, Italy and Hungary. An active speaker, his most recent engagements included a presentation at “Human-Centric Digitalization and Future of Work” conference organised by Ludovika University of Public Service, Hungary and a talk at Oil & Gas Digital Twin Conference and Exhibition 2024. He was a jury member and mentor of top 3 winning teams at “ICT for indigenous languages”, UNESCO WSIS Forum 2022 Hackathon.

Session Details

Session 1: Machine Learning Introduction and Classification

In this session, we’ll lay the foundation by introducing you to the fundamental concept of machine learning. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the key distinctions between Supervised and Unsupervised learning, setting the stage for our focus on supervised learning. Through a captivating classification example, you’ll dive into the realm of supervised learning, where data is labelled and models are trained to make predictions. Session 2: Regression and Model Evaluation

We’ll kick off this session with an exploration of Regression, unraveling the mysteries of predicting continuous outcomes. Through a hands-on demo lab, you’ll learn how to train a regression model, equipping you with invaluable skills for real-world data analysis.
But that’s just the beginning. We’ll then shift our focus to the vital process of model evaluation.
